Webmasters building pages intended for display on mobile phones can now use Google's Sitemaps to help it index those pages, reports InformationWeek. Google Mobile Sitemaps is an extension of the beta program launched in June to help webmasters design pages that can be found by Google spiders, which crawl the web and add pages to Google's web index. The new program does the same for web pages designed for the small screens of cell phones.
