News Interactive reports that Australians witnessed a rather rare event on Tuesday, when Google Australia briefly went down. Google told News Interactive that the outage, due to connectivity issues, lasted less than 15 minutes. Google hadn't had an outage of any significance since domain name service firm Akami was deliberately attacked in the summer of 2003.
