Google launched its expected new API - the back-end interface customers can use to monitor and control Google's own systems in regard to their own campaigns. SearchEngineLowdown gives a review of the API's abilities and deliberate limitations. Users can request that they be given "tokens" - doled out on the basis of how much advertising they do - that they may use to initiate queries or manipulations to their campaign. This will allow them to integrate their own search optimization tools, analytics and even e-commerce inventory databases.
