Google has begun seeking test participants for a new version of AdSense ads, which will be video-based, reports AdAge.
The offering will incorporate video loaded by advertisers into the AdSense platform. Ads will appear within Flash players that publishers put on their sites, one characteristic that will distinguish the sponsored ads from YouTube or Google Video-embedded videos.
A select group of publishers is taking part in the closed test. Ads must be under 30 seconds in length.
Google expects the ads to bring added value to publishers, advertisers and viewers.
