Google Buys into Social Site Tainya

Google has purchased a stake in Tianya, a Chinese social site, reports TechCrunch.

Tianya is a social network that allows people to post blog entries, photos, classifieds and more to their profiles.

While the exact financial exchange remains unknown, the investment could give Google as much as 60 percent of the site's ownership.
