Panoramio in action

Based on its apparently seamless integration with Google Earth, geo-tagging photo site Panoramio will be acquired by Google, reports GigaOM.

Panoramio is a one and a half year-old startup based in Spain. Google is expected to acquire more location web startups in the coming months to fuel geo-based services like Google Maps and Google Earth.
