Ad Manager, Google's hosted ad-serving and management offering, is unrolling a number of improvements, reports Search Engine Journal, listing them thus:
- A line item tab that lets clients check ad operations — including order readiness, delivery status and inventory revenue performance — more quickly. A color coding scheme will also be implemented to identify line item pacing data and line items facing risk.
- Tutorials on the updated Getting Started page, among other new resources.
- More accurate reporting. Ad Manager will filter out clicks and impressions coming from internal traffic, for example.
In addition to the above features, users can now opt in to receive general industry notifications, including optimization tips, best practices and market research opportunities.
