Children's entertainment site GoFish is the latest to create its own ad network of other sites, reports Variety.

GoFish brought a number of sites — offering everything from virtual worlds to video games — into the network, designed to target kids and teens.

The network will reach 17.4 million young people, making it the third-largest mode of access to this demographic, after Disney and Nickelodeon.

Marketers may purchase ads across the network, or use the sites to distribute videos with inlaid ads.

The network has signed Lego, Build-A-Bear, Verizon Wireless and other companies from the toy and personal electronics fields.
