Pheedo has announced that it will be adding geotargetting abilities to its RSS ad network.
Pheedo will use IP address mapping technology to power the geotargeting, which lets marketers target audiences in the U.S., U.K., Spain, France and more than 200 other countries, ClickZ reports. Advertisers using the system can choose from a wide variety of ad units to target customers around the world. Pheedo also allows advertisers to target buys on the basis of other factors, such as specific feeds and sites, content channels and ad frequency.
Pheedo's move into RSS geotargeting comes as Google has quietly unveiled similar offerings.
