Gap, Yahoo, Various Celebs Massage User Creativity for Holiday Videos

Fans of Arrested Development,
Come on!

The Gap and Yahoo are kicking off a user-generated video promotion as part of a multimedia campaign for the holidays.

At gaptidings.yahoo.com, users can create and upload video greetings and watch videos posted from other users.

And like Dell's holiday campaign, the Gap is putting celebrities from its latest winter shoot to help spark creativity.

Users can also create widgets featuring a video for Facebook or MySpace pages, and download desktop wallpaper and Gap holiday email signatures.

The most creative greetings will win one of three limited edition Vespa LX50 scooters, according to DM News.

In conjunction with the promotion, a mobile film studio will be making stops all over Manhattan between November 23 and December 12 to encourage shoppers to record greetings.

Yahoo's Flickr will display photos of the mobile studio events.
