Gannett to Roll Out 100 Local Mobile Sites

Gannett is planning the launch of 100 mobile sites for viewers to access, reports MediaWeek.

The offerings will be mobile versions of the sites for Gannett's newspaper and TV holdings. The sites will carry local content such as sports scores, weather and more. They'll also feature local business ads.

The destinations will be free with that ad support. National content will also be imported from Gannett's USA Today mobile site.
