Ignoring the likelihood that pornography marketers won't heed its policies, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) proposed a rule that would require all porn-related email to be labeled with the subject line "Sexually-Explicit-Content." Calling it "the electronic equivalent of a 'brown paper wrapper,'" the FTC hopes to make it easier for people to filter pornographic email from their inboxes.
