FTC to Enforce No-Call Registry, Finally

DM News: Industry Awaits FTC No-Call Action

A Federal Trade Commission (FTC) official said that a No-Call enforcement action is imminent. While the FTC has written nine warning letters to some, it has yet to levy a fine against violators of the Do Not Call Registry policies. The Registry surprised many when it seemed to have largely worked when it went into effect six months ago. That said, complaints from the 60-million-member list doubled from February to March, indicating that some bad actors may not believe that this administration's FTC intends on enforcing its policies.
