IAR: A Growing Menu: Content-to-Go
IAR published an overview article on the rash of mobile marketing and content deals announced in the wake of CTIA Wireless I.T. and Entertainment conference being held in Las Vegas this week. Judging by the number of deals, you might think that there's a pot of gold to be had, but at this point, there just isn't. It is hard to justify the marketing expenses if there's no ROI tied to it.
Ultimately, we are asking the user to make the transition from the ear to the eye, and that will take some time. Meanwhile, there is a market out there to be formed, and it will take some different types of efforts to uncover its beginnings. In the not-too-distant future, there may come a time when we will wonder about those land lines in the way we now reminisce about snail mail.
