Agence France: Police raid Amazon.com offices in France

L'inspecteur

Gendarmes raided the Amazon.com French subsidiary, searching an Orleans warehouse for illegal DVDs.

Agence France Press quoted an anonymous source as saying the search was for DVDs that failed to "conform to the laws," which could mean a wide variety of potential allegations - from pirated content to merely failing to use the French tongue in legal language.
