U.K.-based Fashion brand French Connection has launched an ambitious social networking site dedicated "to self-expression in music, fashion and the arts," according to Fashion.PSFK.com.
Called aNewMovement.com, the site is a picture-based networking site designed to attract music and fashion lovers offering access to secret music shows and fashion events. The push is supported by four launch parties in May to boost its exposure, but the site apparently has a decent number of members contributing already.
The site somewhat overly-earnestly hopes to get users involved with "all sorts of self-expression, inviting [its] members to get involved and find that state of mind and those magical links that connect us all and make us a collective creative force."
