Fox Interactive Replaces Levinsohn with Levinsohn

Peter

Peter Levinsohn has replaced Ross Levinsohn as the president of Fox Interactive Media.

No reason was given for the change, but ClickZ claims that Peter has the "ideal blend of digital media savvy and the ability to work across multiple business lines." Unlike his cousin Ross, Peter doesn't have a background in interactive media; rather his experience is in cross-platform distribution and sales.

During the past two years, Peter Levinsohn was president of digital media for the Fox Entertainment Group. Prior to that, he oversaw distribution of Fox shows and movies to television, pay-per-view and VOD.

Ross joined FIM after a stint with Fox Sports, where he led expansions into internet, wireless and broadband. Earlier, he served as the executive producer of AltaVista and CBS Sportsline.com.
