Ford: 1 in 11 Cars Sold through Web Leads

Ford indicated that one in every 11 cars it sold came through web leads in 2004. The FordDirect division, which started only in 2000 with a few dealerships in Jersey, now extends over 3,900 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealers in the U.S. The Division sold about 210,000 cars and trucks last year.
