FindWhat.com, which recently experienced some finance-related tremors, has announced that it is changing its name to Miva Media to unite its international businesses under an integrated brand, and claims the move will make the company the largest independent performance marketing network in the world, NetImperative reports. Last year, the company purchased Miva, Espotting and Comet Systems. The re-branding has been under development for nine months and is slated for completion by the end of June. The firm's subsidiaries will operate under three divisions.

Miva Media, formerly FindWhat.com and Espotting, will manage the company's advertising networks and all private-label initiatives. Miva Small Business, formerly Miva Corporation, will develop integrated marketing and business solutions based on the Miva Merchant e-commerce platform. Miva Direct, formerly Comet Systems, will help businesses develop one-to-one relationships with customers by providing desktop consumer software.

Miva is planning a global marketing campaign, covering the U.S., the U.K., Germany, France, Italy and Spain. In the U.S., a series of ads will appear in The New York Times, AdWeek, MediaWeek, Advertising Age, B-to-B Magazine and DM News beginning June 13 June.
