Financial Times Turns Pop Columnists Into Big Bloggers

The Undercover Economist

The Financial Times has drafted some of its most popular columnists to pound out blogs for FT.com.

Tim Hartford, author of The Undercover Economist, as well as business commentator John Gapper and Washington correspondent Clive Crook, will be adding blogs to the site.

The blogs will be used as outlets to supplement print columns, as well as to garner audiences interested in each author's unique voice.

FT.com is also absorbing Willem Buiter's Mavercon blog, which will now be hosted on the site.
