With New Years resolutions still fresh, AOL and MSN are helping brands encourage visitors to drop a few pounds, reports ClickZ.
AOL has re-launched America Takes it Off, a weight-loss site sponsored by Slim Fast. Much of the content comes from Prevention magazine, which is also promoting the campaign on its site.And MSN is working with NBC on the Million Pound Match-Up, an extension of NBC's TV show "The Biggest Loser."
The site, like the latest season of the show, encourages couples to lose weight together. An on-site contest drives users to meet personal weight loss goals, with Biggest Loser contestants providing tips.
