"Serial entrepreneur" Ivan Pope, among the earliest internet players in the U.K., has launched a beta site for syndicated news feeds, aimed at both consumers and publishers, writes NetImperative. FeedNation.com is designed to help users manage their incoming subscriptions to constantly updated RSS feeds. Similar to Bloglines, the new site adds email to the equation. FeedNation can convert RSS into email and hopes to dominate the emerging market by expanding the user base, said Pope. The free service allows users to subscribe to feeds, send them to email or read them online, group and tag feeds for finding and sharing with others, search, and add subscription tools to a user's site.
