CNET: Pop-Up Purveyor D Squared Wins Reprieve

In unfortunate news today, a federal judge lapsed into allowing Messenger pop-up spammer D Squared to continue abusing Microsoft's Messenger service to deliver pop ads promoting its software that block pop-ups. If anything would justify an advertiser completely avoiding the online world, this would be it. The insanity of this decision defies logic but may be moot in any event as Microsoft and others are providing means to turn off the Messenger "feature."
