Factiva has announced a new online reputation monitoring and analysis product that trawls through brand-related chatter on blogs, news sources and consumer-generated media (CGM), ClickZ reports. Factiva's Insight Reputation Intelligence monitors coverage of companies or brands in the Wall Street Journal (print and online), Dow Jones and Reuters newswires, some four million blogs and active message boards, and 11,000 other websites, according to the company, which is a joint venture of Dow Jones and Reuters. Clients will receive reports showing how various media portray a company, its brands and its competitors. Factiva will work with Intelliseek for the monitoring of blogs and CGM.
