Facebook advertisers can now target by profession, reports All Facebook.

The company is under pressure to make its site more ad-friendly, particularly in the face of MySpace's "ad-friendly" redesign — Phase I of which debuted Wednesday to generally positive reviews.

This week Facebook also increased group messaging limits from 1500 recipients to 5000. Sometime this month it will also launch Inbox Search, a tool that enables users to search messages by name, keyword or sender, reports the Facebook blog.

This week, VP Matt Cohler of Product Management at Facebook announced plans to leave the company. He is taking a position at Benchmark Capital.
