Eyespot and Tremor Media have partnered to allow content creators to draw revenue from the video mash-up contests they create, reports ClickZ.
Content owners have previously released video for mash-ups as a way to get the community involved and start buzz. Tremor will insert contextually relevant pre-, mid- and post-roll ads to the videos people create. Each spot will last from five to 15 seconds.
Eyespot has a number of media companies and other content owners it already partners with, from Paramount Pictures to the NBA. The site only allows legally available videos to be used and mixed.
