Rich media ad firm Eyeblaster today announced the launch of its Video Studio advertising solution, which it says can bring full-screen video online faster and with higher quality than others. The tool auto-encodes digitized files into multiple video formats - and also tracks relevant user interactions and provides reporting. Eyeblaster claims to be serving the most video advertising online of any other company in its space, with more than 4,000 ads executed in the first quarter.
Video Studio enables file sizes up to 4.4MB; it automatically detects bandwidth settings of individual computers and delivers the best video file for the speed. It also meets publishers' needs by automatically selecting different streaming methods based on a publisher's specifications - nearly eliminating approval challenges, according to the company.
"Online video has quickly become a mainstream element in ad campaigns due in part to the convergence of broadband uptake, online user expectations and the expertise of agencies in their ability to incorporate video assets in their communications," said Gal Trifon, Eyeblaster's president and CEO. "Video Studio elevates video to the next level, enabling the wide delivery of higher quality, fully interactive video experiences."
Eyeblaster also announced enhancements to its rich media platform, including Flash 8 support, Macintosh support and automatic uploading of media plans created in Microsoft Excel.
