Eurekster, the combined social network cum vertical search firm, announced a shuffling in its boardroom, moving its chairman into its CEO position and its former CEO into an executive chairman position. It announced that it completed a first round of financing through angel sources, but declined to disclose how much money was raised. The firm also hired Adrian Vanzyl, former LookSmart CTO and once VP at LinkExchange, to run business development.
