ESPN to Show Sponsor Logos in Podcasts

ESPN will begin showing images via some of its branded podcasts.

Using a new technology, ESPN will integrate pictures and logos in its audio podcasts, with the images synchronized to specific content and advertising, reports MediaWeek. Images, such as an advertiser's logo, would appear on users' MP3 players or PC. For now, five of ESPN's 18 podcasts will show images, including those of podcast sponsors, such as Shell, Progressive Direct, Coca-Cola and jeweler Jared.
