On Tuesday, July 12, a cross-industry collaborative initiative to improve the security and reliability of email and counter the threat of spam, phishing and email fraud will bring together email-authentication stakeholders to increase accountability and ensure widespread adoption of standards. The Email Authentication Implementation Summit 2005 in Manhattan will include a daylong program of email industry thought leaders offering case studies, recommendations and how-to advice.
The event is a brainchild of various organizations, including Bigfoot Interactive, the Direct Marketing Association, the Email Service Provider Coalition, Microsoft, Symantec and Sendmail.
