Wired: EFF Publishes Patent Hit List

The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) published its top-ten list of silly patents that stand in the way of Internet innovation. None of the items on the list - winnowed down from more than 200 suggestions submitted on its website - come as a great surprise, all of them having caused ripples of fear and uncertainty already in their various industries. The EFF will now formally ask the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to re-examine the questioned patents.
