Online retail spending grew 34 percent versus the same week last year to hit $1.33 billion for the period ending January 23, according to comScore figures reported by Internet Retailer. Combined offline and online spending was practically flat, falling 0.3 percent for roughly the same week. Online travel receipts rose 30 percent to hit $1.07 billion.
