WSJ (via Yahoo): EBay Ends Deal Letting AOL Sell Ads On Web Site
In a sign that a marketing partnership between two high-profile Internet leaders may be fraying, eBay Inc. (EBAY) said it has ended an agreement under which AOL Time Warner Inc. (AOL) sold Internet advertising on eBay's site, The Wall Street Journal has learned.
eBay, in an annual report filed with securities regulators today, said its advertising sales agreement with AOL "has not been extended or renewed and is scheduled to terminate on March 31, 2003, with AOL to continue its electronic delivery of our online advertisements for a specified wind-down period."
Poor AOL can't catch a break. Maybe Ted Turner is right.
