Dominos is giving customers the chance to buy normally high-priced items, such as iPods, for $9.99 on eBay, but only after playing a special online scavenger hunt that the pizza maker has created.

People who wish to purchase one of the items will first have to visit www.anythinggoesdeal.com, where they can get clues that will help them determine the location of the items on eBay, MediaPost reports. The contest ends Feb.5.

The eBay promotion is the latest interactive effort from the pizza maker. In November, Domino's offered a free pizza to anyone named either "Brook" or "Lynn" as a promotion for its Brooklyn-style pizza and its online game hosted at BrooklynStylePizza.com.

In September, the company launched a microsite, Fudgems.com, to promote its newly released dessert item, the Oven-Baked Brownie Squares.
