eBay Cleans Up Site so Sellers Can Clean Up on Sales

eBay has announced plans to dust up what some feel is a site that's become too cluttered, reports Bloomberg News.

The online auction site has seen sellers complain about lower sales resulting from poor user experience. The site, they say, drives people elsewhere when they can't find what they want.

eBay's Meg Whitman admits as much, saying eBay's success led them to defer on making many needed adjustments.

First quarter sales this year rose at the slowest pace in the last eight years. eBay has made changes to fee structures to increase revenue, but if buyers don't have a fruitful experience, sales will continue to go elsewhere.

Whitman says users will see a number of changes in the next year or so.
