Auction giant eBay is partnering with Sanook.com to enable cross-border e-commerce in Thailand, reports The Boston Globe.

Sanook, a popular Thailand-based portal, with work with eBay to allow cross-border transactions through eBay's global network. The site will be operated by a new subsidiary of Sanook, owned by Naspers Ltd, Africa's largest media company.

The e-commerce site could launch anytime between October and December of this year.
