Eatmail Taps Best Viral Clips of 2003

Press Release: Eatmail.TV Unveils the Ten Ultimate Clips of 2003

Top commercial entry

Eatmail, a U.K.-based online community focusing on viral video spots, announced the top ten viral clips of 2003. The winner this year is a spoof of the Mastercard "priceless" campaign. Half of the winners this year are actually spots produced by marketers. Here are all the winners:

  • Priceless (on MasterCard)

  • Terry Tate (Reebok)
  • Lord of the Piercing (MTV Film Awards)
  • Bollocks (VW)
  • Earth (Greenpeace)
  • Kylie Wet T-Shirt (unknown)
  • Pigeon (Ford)
  • No Nonsense (John Smiths)
  • Sex Olympics (Trojan)
  • Star Wars Kid (His brother)

Of the top five vote-getters, only the first place spot - the Mastercard spoof - was a non-commercial effort. The winner garnered more than 1.6 million votes.
