EA Sells 'Sims' Film Rights to Fox


Overweight Sims congregate for pooltime

Game publisher EA has sold the rights of its popular game franchise "The Sims" to 20th Century Fox, reports The Variety (via ZDNet).

Described as a "virtual dollhouse," the game allows users to control the lives of simulated people: from job and sustenance to their love lives.

Since its debut seven years ago, the franchise has sold 85 million copies.
