e-Dialog, an email marketing service provider, has launched a tool that the company claims is able to score the relevance of commercial emails, MediaBuyerPlanner reports.
The "Relevance Trajectory" defines six factors that determine the relevance of an email. With time, companies can examine how their mail stands up against the criteria, then follow a procedure for improving their relevance trajectory — and thus, their email campaigns.
"Until now, no clear definition or KPI has existed for email marketing relevance, nor have marketers had a comprehensive framework for identifying specific applications of relevance that will increase email productivity," observed John Rizzi, president and CEO of e-Dialog.
