Photo-sharing site Snap.com has introduced the Snap Shots Ad Network, reports TechCrunch.
Snap Shots — the preview panes of a site that's linked on a blog, for example — now enables publishers to turn a profit from the network.
The program inputs one of three different ad formats in the preview window, based on the publisher's preferences. Options range from banners, to full rich media formats.
Ads are delivered by DoubleClick.
Ads will be delivered contextually, based on the link but not on any other information on the page.
Snap.com previews are used on over two millions sites according to the company.
