The Direct Marketing Association today said it has launched Direct Comment, an online initiative to let DMA members comment on proposed guidelines, as they are drafted, for the ethical use of software programs for marketing, DM News reports. The deadline for comments is June 20. Direct Comment is a members-only site. Comments will be reviewed before proposed guidelines are submitted to the DMA's board of directors for approval. The announcement followed last week's release of 10 principles for DMA members on how to conduct marketing and customer relationships.
