Media Post: DMA Releases International Spam Law Summary
After being publicly embarrassed by most marketing trade publications for their quashing the publication of anti-spam standards for email marketers, the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) today published instead a summary of the many laws covering the topic.
The summary covers what email marketers must, do in 41 countries, yet remains silent on what they should do beyond those specific requirements to keep company executives out of court (and in Australia soon, possibly out of jail).
