Release: New Payment Types Accelerate eCommerce Revenue
Online conversions can be increased by about 20 percent by simply adding more payment options, according to a study conducted by CyberSource, an online payment system company. A survey of ecommerce managers showed that about two in five said they planned to look into additional payment methods in the next year. Their order of priority was reported to be electronic checks, PayPal and other proprietary systems, private label credit cards, gift certificates, instant credit and finally recurring billing.
