Did-It CEO Wise Resigns

Wise

Citing a diagreement with other executives over the long-term direction of the company, Bill Wise has resigned as CEO of search engine marketing firm Did-It, MediaPost reports.

Wise had been with the firm since January 2005, after leaving Ask Jeeves, where he worked in sales. Both Wise and Did-It executive chairman Kevin Lee agreed that the parting was amicable and stemmed from a fundamental disagreement over company priorities as it maps out a long-term strategy.

Wise's last day was February 7. Dave Pasternack, cofounder of Did-It, will be acting as CEO until a new one is found.

Prior to Ask Jeeves, Wise was COO for MaxOnline, a 2004 acquisition of Ask Jeeves, and before that an executive with DoubleClick Media.
