Acxiom Corporation has announced that email marketer Digital Impact, which it acquired last year, will now be known as Acxiom Digital after the successful integration of Digital Impact and its search engine marketing business, MarketLeap. Kevin H. Johnson, former VP of products and marketing for Digital Impact, will lead Acxiom Digital. William Park, former CEO of Digital Impact, now oversees Acxiom's InfoBase data business, Acxiom Direct and Acxiom Digital.
Acxiom Digital plans to expand it offerings to include broader customer acquisition services via the creation of a series of prospect-acquisition websites, which will be resources for purchase information and capture business leads for resale. The first such website is www.healthcareers.net.
"With the integration…it was clear that our venture needed a fresh identity to reflect the success of our integration and future direction," said Johnson. "The name Acxiom Digital reflects the positive impact of Acxiom's data and database services on our digital marketing business as well as our ability to expand Acxiom's digital marketing capabilities."
The company said it will continue to provide clients with technology and services related to personalized email, targeted websites, online ads, search engines, RSS and digital direct mail.
