eCommerce News: Digital Divide Narrows
The digital divide is narrowing, and by some measures, disappearing, according to a new study by the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. Where only about 60 percent of children had logged onto the internet in 2001, practically all of them have now. Differences still exist in quality of access and frequency, but great progress has been made in three years. A full 96 percent of children have logged on, and, most significantly, that number varies little when compared against ethnicity and income groups.
