Interpublic Group's Deutsch/LA is handling creative and media duties for real-estate startup Zillow.com, writes Adweek. The shop will initially provide brand positioning and strategic counsel as Zillow moves past beta testing.
The win was in part due to the agency's relationship with former Expedia.com executives Rich Barton and Lloyd Frink, who founded Zillow. Deutsch handled Expedia from its inception until recently, when the $170 million account went into review.
Seattle-based Zillow offers detailed data and valuation information on 67 million U.S. homes.
