Despite Big NO from Jobs, Adobe to Bring Flash to iPhone

It's a siege!

Apple CEO Steve Jobs recently stated the company has no plans to bring Flash to the iPhone's web browser, ruling the software would generate too much laggage.

Adobe has nonetheless announced it will launch an iPhone-ready Flash client — a move that could expedite the delivery of existing online video and casual games to iPhone users.

Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said the company downloaded the iPhone SDK and will distribute the iPhone Flash player through the iTunes App Store, which will launch in June.

MacRumors.com cautions Flash proponents, observing there are restrictions in the iPhone SDK that could still prevent its release.
