Linux takes a magic Windows ride
Dell has joined Microsoft and Novell in a pact to allow Linux to work with Windows, according to Reuters. Dell is the first hardware provider to join the circle.
The pact is comprised of business and technological agreements intended to streamline a collaborative process by which Microsoft and Linux servers can work for corporations.
In its first move, Dell will purchase Suse Linux Enterprise Server certificates and migrate its business customers from Dell Linux to the Suse. Suse Linux is the operating system used by Novell.
