eMarketer: Net News Big with Big Wigs
When senior executives from the Fortune 1000 were asked by Harris Interactive and The Wall Street Journal which media they use for news, all major media declined this year, except for the Internet. When asked which vehicle proved most important to the CXO's, they responded that national newspapers came first, and then websites. A quarter of executives surveyed said the Internet was their most important source of information. The two top information categories sought were general business and industry news.
